Dr. Terri Fedderke
Terri grew up in Milan, Ohio, where she graduated from Edison High School. She attended The Ohio State University and received both a Bachelor of Science in Animal Nutrition in 1991 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.Upon college graduation, Terri joined the Napoleon Veterinary Clinic in Napoleon, Ohio, where she practices small animal medicine.
Terri and her husband, Todd, have been married for over 25 years and have two sons, Camren and Collin, and daughter, Caroline. Rounding out their family are dogs, Hazel, Knox, and Quinn. Her family also owns Fedderke Farms Show Cattle where they raise and show Simmental, Maine Anjou, and Chianini influenced cattle.
In her free time, Terri and Todd spend time camping and traveling with their kids to countless cattle and dog shows. Terri is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians fan and can be found cheering on these teams throughout the year.
Dr. Greg Edwards
Greg grew up on a small farm near Avilla and graduated from East Noble High School. He was a 10 year 4-H member. Greg continued his schooling at Purdue University, where he obtained his B.S. in Animal Science in 1977 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1981.
After college, Greg moved to Napoleon, Ohio to join Dr. Burgei at the Napoleon Veterinary Clinic. In 2008, Greg left the private practice and joined Pfizer Animal Health as a Dairy Technical Services Vetrinarian. After 10 years of service, Greg retired in 2018.
Currently, Greg resides in Napoleon, Ohio with Joy, his wife of 47 years. Together, they have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren.
He has been very active in his community, serving in 4-H and United Way and a founding member of the Henry County Humane Society. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Goodville Mutual Insurance, which is a regional insurance company based in New Holland PA. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and being outdoors. He remains an avid Purdue Boilermakers fan to this day!
Gretchen Meienburg – RVT, CKO
Gretchen received a degree in Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University and a B.S. in Biology from Indiana University/Purdue University. With a career spanning 30 years in the Pet Care Industry, she has made significant contributions, including serving as Vice President of the Pet Care Services Association (PCSA). Her leadership extended to roles as chairperson for the PCSA ethics committee and the VFA committee. During her tenure on the PCSA Board, Gretchen was instrumental in drafting the Standard and Practice Document, which aimed to elevate care standards within the Pet Industry.
Gretchen shares her life with her husband, Brent. Together, they have a son, Derek, and twins, Brock and Britney. Their household is completed by their beloved four-legged family members, a German Shepherd named Sasha and a Husky named Timber. In her leisure time, Gretchen cherishes moments spent with her family and dogs, engaging in a variety of outdoor activities. These experiences not only provide relaxation but also reinforce her passion for animal care and the importance of family.s
Dr. Doug Burgei
Doug was originally from Rome City, Indiana. He attended Purdue University and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. Doug retired from Napoleon Veterinary Clinic in 2018 after practicing for 40 years in Napoleon.
Currently residing in Napoleon with his wife, Christy, they spend much of their time traveling, having spent time in Australia, Africa, Spain, Ireland, Mexico and Aruba since retirement. Doug and Christy have 3 children and 7 grandchildren and travel extensively to spend time with all of them.
Doug enjoys spending time outdoors tending to his yard and perennial flowers. He also is involved in the community with his role as chairperson for the Henry County 4-H Endowment Committee for most of his 35 years of involvement with the committee. Doug recently retired from the Board of Directors of First Federal Bank after serving 25 years on the Board. He was inducted into the Henry County Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2015.
Currently, Doug and Christy do not have any pets due to the amount of time they are gone from home traveling extensively. He feels it wouldn’t be fair to a new puppy or kitten to be lodged for a month at a time multiple times per year. They have had a Golden Retriever and a Shih Tzu in the past until 2 years ago when the Golden Retriever had to be euthanized due to health issues at 14 years of age.
